Rosacea sufferers have more facial blood vessels than the average person or the vessels that they have are damaged. The blood vessels continue to grow with age and are stimulated and damaged by stress, food/drinks, dehydration, weather, sun exposure, abrasive or exfoliating soaps, medications, hot baths, exercise, etc. The more blood vessels one has near the surface of the skin, the more one is likely to flush and stay flushed.
